WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING FOR A DRESS?

We recommend that you begin your dress shopping journey about 9 to 12 months before your wedding date to ensure that you do not feel rushed or overwhelmed in the process. This timeframe allows you ample opportunity to explore various styles, fittings, and options. It is also advisable to order your dress no later than 7 to 9 months in advance of the big day to ensure that any necessary alterations can be made, ensuring you look and feel your best on this special occasion!


DO YOU HAVE A DRESS WITHIN MY BUDGET?

Our exquisite collection of bridal gowns features a price range that spans from $1400 to $3200, with the average cost typically falling between $2000 and $2700. No matter where your budget lies within this range, we make it our utmost priority to ensure that you look and feel absolutely priceless on your special day. In addition to our stunning bridal gowns, we also offer sample gowns, which are competitively priced between $499 and $999, providing beautiful options for a variety of tastes and preferences.


WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR SAMPLES?

Sample sizes can vary significantly by designer. At Petrov Bridal Boutique, we proudly carry a diverse range of bridal sizes, specifically from size 8 to size 16. If your sizing happens to fall outside that range, please keep in mind that we have innovative and creative solutions to ensure you can fully experience the elegant look of your desired dress! Our stunning gowns are made to order, and depending on the specific designer, we can arrange orders from sizes 0 all the way up to 30.


DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Appointments are strongly preferred to ensure that you have the best possible experience and that time is available for your visit, as we take only one appointment at a time for your convenience. During your visit, our Boutique is exclusively available to you, allowing for a personalized and intimate experience. Before your scheduled appointment, we take the time to gather important details about your significant day, such as your wedding date and style preferences, to ensure that all of your needs and desires are fully addressed. We completely understand that there may be times when booking an appointment is not feasible, and we will do our utmost to accommodate you in those situations.


HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We do not recommend bringing more than four guests with you to your appointment. It is important that you bring along the people you truly need, as their support can help guide you in your choices during this significant experience. Our Boutique will be available exclusively to you and your selected guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized atmosphere. You will have your very own change room, which will be accompanied by a knowledgeable consultant to assist you in comfortably getting in and out of the beautiful gowns. Our goal is to ensure that you feel special and cherished throughout your visit!

DO I HAVE TO TAKE OFF MY SHOES?

To ensure that our stunning dresses continue to look as beautiful and pristine as possible for all of our cherished clients, we kindly request that outside footwear is not permitted within our boutique. However, we warmly welcome you to bring your unworn wedding shoes, if you have them available, so that you can try them on alongside your dress during your appointment. In addition to this, we ask that you please consider bringing along sockets or slippers for both yourself and your guests to enhance everyone's comfort during the visit.


WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?

You will have a personal, one-on-one meeting with an experienced Bridal Stylist in a lovely and inviting fitting room designed for your comfort. Appointments generally last around 90 minutes, allowing ample time tailored to your unique needs and preferences. At Petrov Bridal Boutique, you can browse the exquisite collections freely and select the gowns you like best. Additionally, our knowledgeable Bridal Stylists will also suggest a variety of additional dresses that beautifully match your personal style, ensuring you find the perfect look for your special day.


DO I NEED TO WEAR A BUSTIER OR ANY SPECIAL UNDERGARMENTS?

You will find that many of our exquisite gowns will feature built-in bustiers that will provide the structural support and shape you seek for your special day. This thoughtful design choice means you will save both time and money, as there will be no need for you to purchase additional foundation garments. We recommend that you bring along a nude strapless bra and nude underwear, as well as heels that are approximately the same height you envision wearing on your wedding day. This will help us ensure the perfect fit for your bridal look.


HOW MUCH TIME WILL IT TAKE FOR MY DRESS TO COME IN?

Typically, bridal gowns take approximately 4 to 8 months to arrive after we have successfully placed your order with the designer. To ensure the perfect fit and appearance, we highly recommend that alterations be completed about 6 to 8 weeks prior to the wedding date, allowing ample time for any necessary adjustments.


WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR PAYMENT?

When you have joyfully said “Yes to the Dress”, we kindly require a deposit of 50% of the total price to proceed with ordering your beautiful gown. The remaining balance is expected to be settled 30 days after your gown has arrived and you have come in. Additionally, we would like to inform you that we do not keep cash on site, but we do happily accept payments through Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Debit cards for your convenience.


WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ORDER MY GOWN?

We will reach out to you promptly when your gown arrives to arrange a "Meet Your Dress" appointment, allowing you the opportunity to try it on before any alterations are made. Please keep in mind that alterations are not included in the initial dress price and will incur an additional cost. During the waiting period, you are welcome to store your beautiful gown at the boutique until you are fully prepared for the alterations process. Once they are completed, we kindly ask that you return your dress to us, and I will make sure to steam it at no additional charge to ensure it is perfectly prepared for your special wedding day.


DO YOU OFFER IN-STORE ALTERATIONS?

We do not offer in-store alterations at our boutique. However, we work closely with an incredibly skilled and experienced seamstress located in London, Ontario, as well as the surrounding area, to handle all of our dress alterations with care and precision.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION OR RETURN POLICY?

All purchases made at Petrov Bridal Boutique are considered final sale, which includes not only the made-to-order gowns but also our selection of samples and various accessories. Once a purchase is completed, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.


WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

A trunk show is an exciting event in which a dress designer sends a curated collection of dresses for a limited period of time that is separate from what we typically carry in our store. The primary purpose of the trunk show is to provide brides the unique opportunity to view and try on additional styles that they may not have encountered anywhere else. It’s a wonderful chance to explore new designs and discover something truly special. Please note that trunk shows are offered by appointment only to ensure personalized attention for each bride.
